Scholarships Available For Six Washington State Students

 

The City of Kennewick is nominating one local candidate to compete for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Center of Quality Communities Scholarship program. 

The $1,500 scholarship is awarded to six Washington state students who have been actively engaged with their community and/or city government. Please read the following information carefully and complete the scholarship application form by January 12, 2022 if you wish to be considered. 

To be eligible, a student must be graduating from high school, complete home schooling, or receive a GED in spring/summer 2022; live within the city limits of Kennewick; plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary institution in the 2022-2023 academic year on a half-time or more basis; and been involved with a city government or with a community/school leadership activity.  

Individual application forms and supporting materials are due to the City of Kennewick by: Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
